Urgent Event Tomorrow in Portland

Insurance companies are the main force fighting healthcare reform. In fact, every day the insurance industry is spending $1.4 million to lobby against reform - imagine how many Americans could have fully funded health insurance for that much money!

Remind Congress that healthcare reform isn't an option, it's a necessity, and tell the insurance industry to stop blocking reform.

Where: Pettygrove Park, 100 SW Market, in downtown Portland. It's a little tricky to find, but it's right by the Blue Cross building in the middle of the block, right here .

When: Noon, Tuesday (tomorrow)

Who: Hundreds of Oregonians fed up with the insurance industry and ready to see real reform

Wear: Your union t-shirts, if you can. We'll have signs, too, so you'll still be able to show your colors even if you're just dashing over on your lunch break

Do you think we can have more union members at this rally than there are insurance lobbyists in the Capitol in Washington, D.C.?
