2024 OREGON AFL-CIO VOTERS' GUIDE
Oregon AFL-CIO endorsements are made by our Committee on Political Education, which includes representatives from every union in the federation. The Committee endorses candidates and ballot measures based on how they will impact all working people in the state of Oregon–union and nonunion alike. We carefully evaluate each candidate’s and ballot measure’s past and potential impact on issues that matter most to our communities. These include healthcare, education, the right to form a union, trade policies, and much more.

The Oregon AFL-CIO represents over 300,000 working Oregonians, through more than 40 affiliated unions and our community affiliate, Working America. Our membership ecompasses every corner of the state and a diverse cross-section of Oregon’s workforce, from teachers, firefighters and grocery store workers to electricians and aerospace workers. We come together as the Oregon AFL-CIO because we believe in one simple idea: when working people stand together, we can create positive changes for everyone.

Voting is an essential part of creating positive change. It’s our chance as working people to support those who support us.
