Oregon's Labor Movement Rocks Pride Parade 2019

  • NW 9th between Burnside and Couch streets Portland (map)

The Oregon Labor Movement is marching together behind one banner in the 2019 Portland Pride Parade on Sunday, June 16th. Our goal is a unified contingent 200 strong of union and allied members celebrating pride in their LGBTQ friends and colleagues.

We encourage all our affiliates and partners to use this event as an opportunity to reach out to their LGBTQ members to demonstrate support and solidarity, as well as to their greater membership. Now more than ever we must stand together in unity, speaking out and acting up to uphold the rights and dignity of all workers. As we well know, β€œAn injury to one is an injury to all.”

Now is the time for all of us across the Labor movement to come together as one, and to declare loudly and proudly our pride in the beautiful diversity of our LGBTQ siblings πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ See you at the Parade!

We are #112 of 171 groups. We will be on NW 9th between Burnside and Couch. Vehicles must be in place by 8:30 am! All others are asked to be there by 10:45 for an 11:00 step off.
