How to Fight Attacks on the Working Class

aurora9458

News of threats to working class Americans is constantly flooding our inboxes and social media feeds — cuts to Medicaid, mass layoffs of federal workers, attacks on immigrants - the list goes on.

It’s easy to feel demoralized and helpless under the weight of these attacks from the ultra wealthy and powerful, but when the working class bands together, we have the power to force change. Already, we’ve seen National Labor Relations Board member Gwynne Wilcox reinstated and Trump ordered to reinstate federal employees. Meanwhile, thousands of workers continue to organize, unionize, and bargain stronger contracts every day.

We’ve compiled a list of resources and ways to take action to fight back against these attacks.

From threats to federal works and the education department to attacks on immigrants and the queer community, here is a comprehensive list of resources.

Across Oregon, workers are rising up and demanding Congress rescind its budgetary proposal to cut nearly $900 billion in Medicaid. Join us in rallying to demand our elected officials protect our Medicaid.
